Tika

Tika is another two-heads-one-mind being - specifically, a type of semi-humanoid semi-arthropod alien called a Ketek. The Ketek live on a rocky planet with large animals, and evolved their natural form of conjoinment and segmented eyes as means of quickly scanning for predators. The two heads are in perfect synchronization and have no reason to talk to each other (except, presumably, for fun). When a Ketek senses danger, they withdraw their flexible upper bodies and segmented legs into their hollow armored carapace, making them resemble mossy boulders and protecting most of their vital organs. The native Ketek language is made up primarily of clicks, chirps, purrs, and other sounds that might be difficult for other races to reproduce.
